Two men robbed a Padiham shop at knifepoint, on Tuesday (October 1), police have said in an appeal.
At around 7.45am, two men entered Best One in Burnley Road, and stole a quantity of cigarettes while in possession of a large kitchen knife.
No injuries were reported.
The two men approached the shop from the Veevers Street direction, then ran towards Pendle Street.
The men were wearing dark clothes and carrying a bag.
Anyone with CCTV or information has been asked to get in touch.
A police spokesperson said: “On Tuesday, October 1, at 7.45am, two males have entered Best One in Padiham and stolen a quantity of cigarettes whilst in possession of a large kitchen knife. Fortunately, no one was injured.
“The two men approached the shop from the Veevers Street direction, then made off, running towards Pendle Street.
“If you have any CCTV footage that captures two males wearing dark clothing around 7.45am to 7.50am carrying a bag, or any information regarding this then please ring 101 quoting log number 0188 of October 1.”
