Luck has struck twice in Lancashire after two mystery men scooped a combined £2 million after winning the lottery.
Two men, known only as Mr H and Mr S from Lancashire, have won life-changing EuroMillions prizes, in the space of just a few weeks.
Lucky Mr H scooped an incredible £1,000,000 in the EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker draw on Friday, August 16.
EuroMillions Millionaire Maker guarantees to create a millionaire in every draw but the special draw on August 16 saw 10 UK millionaires made in one night, including lucky Mr H, as well as Mr B from Cardiff and Mr M from Norfolk.
Just a few weeks later, Mr S won the same prize in the EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker draw on Tuesday, August 27. He plans to buy himself a new home.
These latest Lancashire winners have become two of more than eight million players that win each week on The National Lottery’s range of games.
Interactive winners have the opportunity to release their name, remain anonymous or like these winners, release some details through partial publicity.
Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at The National Lottery, said: “What incredible news for these two lucky winners - they have both become millionaires overnight!
"Lancashire is clearly a very lucky area for EuroMillions players.”
Players can buy and check their tickets online by downloading the National Lottery app or at www.national-lottery.co.uk. Players can also buy and check tickets in retail stores.
