Two Netflix stars made a surprise appearance at a Longridge restaurant, at the weekend.
Benaiah, also known as Ben, and Nicole Grunewald-Bridi, starred in Love is Blind which aired in August. They came to Fell Bistro, on Berry Lane, at the weekend.
Alex Blamire, who owns the restaurant alongside Matt Willdigg and Oli Martin, said the couple were friendly to staff.
He said: “They were a lovely couple and were extremely friendly and pleasant to the staff.
“Ben is from Longridge so they visited while in the area.
“[They] found love on Netflix’s latest binge watch Love Is Blind and we were thrilled to have them with us.
“Thank you guys so much for visiting and we can’t wait to see you again next time your in the area at our new restaurant Oh! Pizza.”
Fans of the show have commented on Fell Bistro’s social media posts.
“Love these two,” one person said.
Another said: “I’m sure they would have enjoyed it as much as I did when I last visited.”
“They were a lovely couple on the show,” said another.
Ben, a structural landscaper, met Nicole, a branding and marketing manager from Surrey, on the show, where contestants date in small, soundproof rooms where they can hear each other but not see each other. The couple faced some bumps in the road in their relationship but appear to still be together.
They even started a YouTube channel together called Life with The GBs, after getting married on the show.
Fell Bistro, known for serving modern bistro dishes, is set to undergo a rebrand in coming weeks.
The site will be replaced by pizzeria Oh! Pizza from October 4.
The Oh! Pizza brand was founded by the team behind Fell Bistro, Matt Willdigg, Alex Blamire, and Oli Martin.
The brand started as a pop-up and casual catering concept, and has collaborated with luxury brands such as Porsche.
