Police found dozens of stolen power tools after they stopped a van on the M6.
The discovery was made on Friday on the M6 near Preston.
A police spokesperson said: “When the van was searched we uncovered a large quantity of power tools. Enquiries confirmed items were stolen in a series of recent thefts.
“The driver was arrested and the vehicle seized.”
