Police have seized approximately 600 cannabis plants from an address in the Ribble Valley in their second raid this week.
Officers descended onto an address in Ramsgreave following a report from a member of the public.
The owner of the grow is in custody following a warrant regarding the Misuse of Drugs Act and all the plants have now been seized.
Several cannabis farms have been seized recently as part of Lancashire Police’s scheme Operation Warrior which helps to tackle serious and organised crime in Lancashire.
Supported by the Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw, it aims to target the individuals and gangs involved in crime.
This focuses on large-scale drug supply, exploitation and fraud, all of which can cause serious harm to the community.
Ribble Valley police urge anyone with concerns or information concerning drug activity in the area to contact 101 or RibbleValley.NPT@lancashire.police.uk or raise it anonymously through Crime stoppers on 0800 555 111.
A post on Ribble Valley’s Facebook page said: “For the second time this week a green fingered Ribble Valley resident is in custody following a misuse of drugs act warrant at an address in Ramsgreave.
“The property contained approximately 600 plants which thanks to the information received from members of the public will not reach our streets.”
