Police are on the hunt for a driver after a young child was hit by a car in Burnley.
A six-year-old boy suffered an injury to ankle.
The incident happened on September 6, between 5.30pm and 6.30pm.
Officers are looking for a vehicle, described as being black and possibly an Audi.
A police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for information after a young child was involved in a [crash] close To Burnley Wood Park.
“The incident happened on September 6 between the hours of 5.30pm and 6.30pm.
"The child, a six-year-old boy, suffered an injury to ankle after being in collision with a car.
“The vehicle we would like to identify has been described by the victim as being a black car and possibly an Audi.
“We are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying this vehicle and driver to assist with our enquiries.
“If you know who the driver was, or you were the driver please come forward.
