A man has appeared in court charged with 14 sexual offences including rape.
Shirish Vishnu Mohan, 40, entered not guilty pleas to all 14 counts at Burnley Crown Court on Monday (September 16).
Mohan appeared in court wearing a white shirt and dark blue coat before His Honour Judge Daniel Prowse.
Mohan is charged with six counts of rape, six counts of sexual activity with a child, one count of assault by penetration, and one count of sexual activity with a child under 13.
Of the alleged offences, 10 are said to have taken place across East Lancashire, at locations in Nelson, Burnley, and Fence.
Another four alleged offences are said to have happened in Coventry in the West Midlands.
Mohan is accused of four counts of sexual activity with a child and one count of raping a child in Nelson between 2020 and 2021.
The offences alleged to have occurred in Fence are one count of sexual activity with a child, sexual assault of a child, and two counts of rape of a child, which are said to have happened in 2021.
He is also accused of one count of sexual activity with a child in Burnley in 2022.
All of the offending allegedly took place between 2020 and 2023.
Mohan, of Weetwood Lane, Leeds, is due to stand trial on December 1, 2025.
He was granted conditional bail until then by Judge Prowse.
