A new group of single parents nominated by their grown-up kids will hopefully find love again, as My Mum, Your Dad returns for a second series on ITV this week.

Hosted by Davina McCall, the kids will be back in the surveillance room, dubbed the “Bunker”, where they are entrusted with the fate of their single parents as they search for love in the retreat.

Watching along, there will be some new twists along the way as they get a front row seat to how their parents fare in their bid to make a romantic connection.

At the end, they’ll ultimately decide if they give their blessing to any potential matches.

But ahead of the new series, you might be wondering if any of the couples from series one are still together, including favourites Roger and Janey – let’s find out.

Natalie and Paul

Natalie was nominated by her son Kaliel for the show, while Paul was nominated by his daughter Mazey.

The pair had an instant connection and were the first to share a kiss on the reality TV dating show.

Fast forward to the couple’s last date and Natalie began to open up to Paul about her past addictions.

On the final episode, Natalie and Paul had a lot of praise for one another and also met each other's kids.

Sadly, just one day after the last episode aired in 2023, Natalie and Paul announced they had gone their separate ways in a joint statement on social media.

They said: “Firstly just wanted to say thank you for the overwhelming support from everyone who has watched the show and how invested you have been with our journey. It was an incredible experience and one that we will be forever grateful for taking part in.

“Nat and I had an incredible experience in the retreat and loved every moment, we continued that connection over the summer and had some great times together. Unfortunately in early August we decided to call a day on the relationship. We are both still friends and wish each other the best. Thank you for your continued support and we're very thankful to @davinamccall @itv @mymumyourdaduk for all we gained from the experience.”

Sharon and Elliott

Sharon's daughter Tia and Elliott's son Zachary both gave their blessing for their parent's relationship at the end of My Mum, Your Dad series one.

Originally, Sharon struggled to open up to PE teacher Elliot due to the “past trauma” she suffered in previous relationships.

But at the end of their journey, they both seemed positive about their future and both kids were on board with their parents being together.

After the show aired on ITV1 last year, both Sharon and Elliott shared pictures together on social media.

They also revealed they had plans to move in together.

But in November 2023, reports suggested the couple had split up, as it was speculated Sharon had unfollowed Elliott on Instagram, according to Hits Radio.

Monique and Martin M

After a number of dates with Martin M and Martin H, Monique found herself in a “love square” alongside her former contestant Tollulah.

However, towards the end of the show, Martin M confessed he had stronger feelings for Monique.

On their final date, Monique even said she would think about moving to Ibiza where Martin M lived.

Sadly, in the last episode of My Mum, Your Dad, Monique began to have doubts about Martin M’s “true” feelings so she ended their relationship.

The pair have remained friends since the retreat.

Where are Roger and Janey now?

It wouldn’t be a look back at My Mum, Your Dad series one without including one of the most popular couples, Roger and Janey.

Postman Roger took part in the show after the death of his wife who he said “taught him how to love” – he was nominated by his daughter Jess.

But it was “bombshell” Janey, nominated by her son Will, who helped Roger open up about his past.

The pair even shared a kiss on their final date at the retreat and both their kids gave their blessing.

A day after the last episode aired, the couple confirmed they were still in a relationship with Janey posting a picture of the couple cuddling in bed and Roger sharing a snap of them enjoying time together on the beach.

They have both shared numerous pictures together on Instagram from holidays to camping trips.

In July 2024, Janey and Roger appeared on Loose Women to celebrate their one-year anniversary.
