The Met Office has issued a weather warning for fog, that covers parts of Lancashire.
The warning is in place from 5am today (September 16) until 10am.
It covers some parts of Lancashire, including Leyland and Chorley.
The Met Office has warned motorists to expect slower car journeys this morning. Delays of bus services and flight delays or cancellations are also possible.
Areas of fog could cause slower journeys on Monday morning.
Once the foggy weather clears it’s set to be a fine day across Lancashire, with highs of 18°C and lows of 8°C. Sunshine has also been forecast all day.
Currently, no East Lancashire areas are covered by the warning.
Tips for staying safe in the fog, according to the Met Office

- Arrive on time at the airport or ferry terminal, even if delays are expected.
- Pack your hand luggage with delays in mind. For example, some people may need to pack extra prescription medicine or baby food.
