A busy main road through the Ribble Valley is closed after a crash.
The crash happened on the A59 eastbound between Barrow and Whalley at around 8am today (September 14).
Police have been contacted for further details but have posted on social media already to say a motorbike was involved.
They said: "Witnesses are sought following an RTC involving a motorcycle on the A59 this morning at approximately 8am between the roundabout at the junction with Accrington road A671 and the roundabout at McDonald's, in the general direction of Clitheroe."
A further update at around 11am from Ribble Valley Police said: "We currently have a road closure in place due to a road traffic collision.
"The closure is in place on the A59 Clitheroe bound between the A671 and the McDonald's roundabout.
"We would ask that during this time you find alternative routes of travel."
A picture from the scene appears to show one lane being closed on the carriageway.
Both Google Maps and AA traffic are reporting heavy traffic building up in the area.
