A man was taken to hospital after suffering burn injuries at a house in Burnley.
Emergency services were called to the house in Waddington Avenue at around 4pm yesterday (September 12).
Police officers are carrying out enquiries to establish how the man sustained his injuries.
Members of the public reported that an air ambulance helicopter was seen landing on Belmont Community Green yesterday afternoon.
North West Air Ambulance Charity confirmed their attendance but did not provide further details.
Police added they do not believe there to be any suspicious circumstances and they were treating it as an isolated incident.
They also warned there may be an increased police presence in the area.
