A man in his 30s has died after being found in a wooded area in Blackburn.
Emergency services were called to the area near to the garage on Preston Old Road in Feniscowles at around 3pm on Thursday (September 12).
Despite the best efforts of emergency services, the man, who has not yet been named, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man's death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be passed to the coroner.
A police spokesperson said: "We received a report of a sudden death in a wooded area near to the Spar Garage on Preston Old Road, Blackburn, at around 3pm yesterday (September 12).
"Officers attended, and despite the best efforts of the emergency services, a man in his 30s was pronounced dead at the scene.
"His loved ones are aware, and our thoughts are with them at this sad time.
"His death isn’t being treated as suspicious, and a file will be passed to the coroner in due course."
