Three people have been arrested as part of an investigation into the supply of drugs in East Lancashire.
This morning, (September 12) police arrested another three people as part of that investigation.
A woman, aged 27, from Rossendale, was arrested on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs.
A woman, aged 36, from Bacup, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
A man, aged 57, from Bacup, was arrested in Nelson on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs other than class A. They are all in custody.
DCI John Roy, of East CID, said: “I want once again to thank the community for their continued support, and I hope that seeing these results both reassures them that we will take action and encourages them to continue to report suspicious activity, either directly to the police or anonymously to Crimestoppers.

“If you believe that someone may be involved in drug activity in your area, you can report it to police by calling 101.
“Alternatively, you can report it via the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or report your concerns anonymously online at Crimestoppers-uk.org. If you think someone is in immediate danger, call 999.”
