A man has been charged after computer equipment and other items were allegedly stolen in a burglary in Oswaldtwistle.

The incident is alleged to have happened on Wednesday, August 28, in Scott Close, when electrical goods such as computer equipment, mobile phones, a gaming console, a laptop and two watches are said to have been taken.

Following enquiries made by the East Residential Burglary team, on 10 September, a 29-year-old man was arrested and questioned on suspicion of burglary.

Dean Evans, 29, of Norfolk Grove, Accrington, has since been charged with burglary in a dwelling and has been remanded to custody.

He will appear at Preston Crown Court on October 23 over the charges.
