A landmark tower in Ramsbottom will be open to the public this month.
The tower stands 128ft high and offers stunning panoramic views of Greater Manchester, with the city’s changing skyline visible.
North Wales and Derbyshire Pennies can also be seen on clear days.

On Sunday, September 29, it will open its doors to visitors who can climb the winding steps inside the Grade II listed monument to enjoy spectacular views from the viewing platform.
Peel Tower sits on Harcles Hill, which is more commonly known as Holcombe Hill, and was built in 1852 as a tribute to Bury’s Sir Robert Peel at a cost of £1,000.
Peel was the founder of the police force and served as Prime Minister for a five-year term in 1841.
The cash-only admission tickets cost £2 per adult, £1 for a child or senior ticket or £4 per family from 11am – 4pm.
