Pictures have been released as the opening date for a Taco Bell restaurant in Burnley is revealed.

Taco Bell is set to open at the Pioneer Place, in Charter Walk shopping centre, on Monday, September 16.

It is the first Taco Bell to open its doors in East Lancashire.

Pictures show the interior of the Mexican fast-food restaurant, ahead of its grand opening.

Taco Bell serves tacos, quesadillas, churros and more.

A spokesperson for Charter Walk said: “Taco Bell UK is opening Monday, September 16, at Pioneer Place in Charter Walk. Here is an exclusive sneak peek of what it looks like inside.

“You can now also download their app for click and collect and to get exclusive deals.”

Burnley's £23million Pioneer Place opened last year. It currently boasts a REEL multi-screen cinema, five leisure units, and car parking and is backed by funding from various authorities, including the Government's Getting Building Fund.

Kate Ingram, Burnley Council’s strategic head of economy and growth, said: “Taco Bell will add something different to the wide range of foods and flavours on offer at restaurants across Burnley town centre.

“This will be the first Taco Bell in East Lancashire, and only the second in the county, demonstrating investor confidence in Pioneer Place and Burnley’s shopping centre.
