Greggs has launched a range of jewellery in a company first – with one piece a homage to a snack favourite.
East Lancashire customers will now be able to buy a steak bake adorned in 22-carot gold sausage roll stud earrings.
And the announcement is great for all those who bought the complete Greggs tracksuit from Primark's 2022 collection as they will finally be able to complete the look.
The bakery chain unveiled the fresh collection designed by British artist Dion Kitson and shoppers will be able to grab the sausage roll earrings for £36.
A vegan sausage roll option will also be available for the same price which features a different style of pastry to the meat version.
And if you want to be the big cheese (and onion bake) in town then there is an option to splash out on the £96 charm bracelet which is adorned with sausage rolls, coffee cups, pizza slices and bakes.
Hannah Squirrell, Customer Director at Greggs said: “We’re always looking for ways that help Gregg’s customers share their love for the brand, and the launch of Baked in Gold is another fun way to deliver this.
"We’re excited to be teaming up with Dion as we step into the world of jewellery to deliver the fun and flavour that our customers know us for, in a unique and one-of-a-kind way!"
Unfortunately, you will not be able to buy the items at the Blackburn branch or any other outlets, as items must be purchased online.
The collection will officially launch online at 10am on Friday, September 13 with links posted on the bakery’s social media channels beforehand.
Greggs has urged shoppers to act fast as there are only a limited number of each jewellery piece available and purchases are also limited to five pieces per person.
There are also an adjustable heart locket necklace up for grabs for £45 which can hold a picture of your nearest and dearest or a picture of your favourite Greggs store.
Signet rings will also come in small, medium and large sizes.
