Hundreds of pounds in cash was seized from a teenager suspected of dealing drugs.
The 16-year-old boy was stopped by officers in Bacup at around 7pm on Friday, September 6.
Following a search, three snap bags of cannabis, the cash, and a set of digital scales were seized.
The boy, from Bacup, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply and a public order offence relating to an incident on August 20.
He has been released and bailed to keep out of the area while police enquiries continue.
Neighbourhood inspector for Rossendale Matt Plummer said: “Anti-social behaviour can take many different forms, including drug dealing in residential areas. This kind of activity is a blight on our communities, and I want to make it clear that this type of behaviour will not be accepted on the streets of Rossendale.
“We will continue to work with our partner agencies to tackle the issues and concerns of our communities and make people feel safe in their homes and on the streets.”
