Passengers are warned over delays to journeys into and out of Manchester due to an 'object' on the overhead wires.
Northern said an object had been caught on the overhead wires at Deansgate earlier today.
Train services running through this station were cancelled, delaying journeys ‘by up to 45 minutes’.
The lines were re-opened after 1pm but delays could still be affecting passengers late into this afternoon.
The following routes will continue to be impacted by this disruption: Manchester Airport - Blackpool North; Manchester Airport - Liverpool Lime Street; Manchester Airport - Barrow / Windermere; Manchester Oxford Road - Liverpool Lime Street; Manchester Oxford Road – Southport.
