Firefighters were called to deal with an overturned car on Garstang Road, Preston where one casualty was trapped inside.
The incident occurred just before 12.20pm today, September 6 and two fire engines from Preston and Fulwood attended the scene.
Crews extracted the casualty using small hand tools, stabilisation struts and Holmatro cutting gear, and they were later taken to hospital.
They stayed at the scene for approximately 50 minutes.
Police stated that the incident was a damage only.
A Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service statement said: “At 12:18 on 6 September 2024, two fire engines from Preston and Fulwood attended a road traffic collision on Garstang Road, Preston which involved a vehicle on its roof with one casualty trapped.
“Fire crews extricated the casualty using small hand tools, stabilisation struts and Holmatro cutting gear and was later conveyed to hospital.
“Fire crews were on scene for approximately 50 minutes.”
