Fire crews called to deal with serious house fire in Blackburn this morning, September 5.
At 6.27am fire engines and the aerial ladder platform from Blackburn, Hyndburn and Darwen fire stations attended the incident.
The fire involved the first floor of a domestic premises and crews used four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, a positive pressure ventilation fan and one triple extension ladder to help tackle the blaze.
An update shared by Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service at 9.25am said crews remain on the scene.
A statement said: “At 6.27am on September 5, four fire engines and the aerial ladder platform from Blackburn, Hyndburn and Darwen attended an incident at Swallow Drive, Blackburn.
“The fire involved the first floor of a domestic premises.
“Firefighters are using four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, a positive pressure ventilation fan, and one triple extension ladder.
“Crews remain on scene.”
