A man will stand trial next year after denying two counts of arson.
Kearen Clayton, 29, appeared in the dock at Preston Crown Court on Tuesday (September 3).
Clayton, of Aster Chase, Lower Darwen, entered not guilty pleas to arson with two counts recklessness as to whether life was endangered, assault by beating, and threatening a person with an offensive weapon.
All the alleged offences are said to have taken place in Blackburn in December.
Clayton will stand trial on October 29, 2025 at Preston Crown Court. The trial is estimated to last three days.
A pre-trial review hearing was scheduled for September 17, 2025.
