A man who caused serious injury by dangerous driving will be sentenced later this year.

Max Street, 20, pleaded guilty to one count of that offence and denied another at a hearing at Preston Crown Court on Monday (September 2).

The incident is said to have happened in Blackamoor Road, Blackburn, in April of last year.

Street, of Fern Street, Farnworth, Bolton, was given a sentence date of November 5.

A further hearing will be held before then to determine the outcome of his not guilty plea to the other count.
