Train services between Blackburn and Preston are being disrupted due to the line being blocked by a fallen tree.
Services running through Blackburn, Mill Hill, Cherry Tree, Pleasington, Bamber Bridge, Lostock Hall and Preston have been cancelled or delayed by up to 30 minutes, rail operator Northern said, and is expected to continue until 11.45am.
Preston to Colne and Blackpool North to York services are also currently unable to run and Network Rail workers are currently on site dealing with the problem.
Rail replacement buses will be requested if the problem continues, Northern said, and customers are urged to listen for announcements at stations.
The current Preston to Colne service is delayed at Bamber Bridge.
Compensation is available to those delayed by more than 15 minutes.
The issue has now been sorted, Northern said in an update at 11.22am.
