Best places for food and drink in and around Blackburn
The most popular place suggested by locals was The Rishton Arms in Blackburn.
This pub has also impressed on Tripadvisor where it has a 5-star rating from 37 reviews, at the time of writing.
One customer said: “Visited the rishton arms with friends and had a great time. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, perfect for hanging out. They had a great selection of of beers and tasty gins aswell as some unique shots such as banana sambuca !. The food was delicious.
“The live music was a nice touch without being too loud with a lot of people singing a lot to the well known songs. Friendly service topped off the evening. We'll definitely be back!”
Another shared their experience: “What a fantastic pub visited whilst passing through on canal. Food is fantastic and plenty of choice. Staff friendly Customers friendly. Nice seating area out front.”
Other restaurants that proved popular amongst locals were Kebabish Original in Blackburn, CDJ Riverside in Lower Darwen, Dolly’s Bar and Grill in Darwen plus more.

One local shared their experience of Dolly’s Bar and Grill, writing: “lovely meals every time I go the service is super can’t fault it thank you dolly’s bar and grill brilliant xx”.
CDJ Riverside was described as “brilliant” while Kebabish was said to serve “good food”.
