Three men have been arrested on suspicion of burglary following reports of people entering and taking from a recycling centre.
Police were called at around 7.20pm last night (August 28) to Farington Waste Recycling Centre in Leyland following multiple reports of three men exiting a vehicle and entering the site.
Officers responded and caught two of the males after a short chase on foot. A third male was caught trying to hide in a bush.
A 30-year-old man, a 34-year-old man, and a 39-year-old man, all from Preston, were arrested on suspicion of burglary, and their vehicle, an Audi A6, was seized.
All three are in custody awaiting interview.
