More than 20 vehicles have been seized in Blackburn as police ‘bin the bangers’.
Police seized more than 20 vehicles from Dickens Street and Highfield Road as part of the police operation, where abandoned and illegal vehicles are removed from Lancashire streets.

A police spokesperson said: “After the huge success in Pendle with operation bin the bangers, we are pleased to tell you that it has now been rolled out into Burnley and Blackburn.
“Pendle [police] went over to Blackburn this morning to assist with their first of many operations run by Blackburn [police]
“We seized more than 20 vehicles from Dickens Street and Highfield Road in Blackburn.
“Don't worry though Pendle we will be back.”
