A driver has been reported after reversing along the hard shoulder of the M55 after missing their exit.
The van driver told police they “didn’t see the potential danger they caused” for making this manoeuvre as they “only reversed a short distance”
Police reported the driver.
A spokesperson for Lancs Road Police said: “Driver of this van missed his turn off on the M55, reversing along the hard shoulder to complete the exit.
“They didn’t see the potential danger they caused making this manoeuvre stating they had only reversed a short distance. Driver reported for offences.”
