An audience was treated to a wonderful afternoon of music on Bank Holiday Monday as one of the region's top brass bands performed in East Lancashire.
The Lostock Hall Memorial Brass Band were back at the Gibbon Bridge Hotel in Chipping on Monday afternoon for the fourth time in two years.
The audience was served a delightful lunch before the band arrived on stage, which started in traditional style with a march 'Under the Double Eagle.'
This then moved onto music from screen and stage, with the first half closing with a foot-tapper of a piece, Bandology, followed by Golden Lady.
The second half then started with another traditional march in Arnham before pieces from the musical Anything Goes which really got the audience clapping and singing.
Proceedings then slowed down with a rendition of Haven't Met You Yet by Michael Buble and the beautiful Irish Blessing.
A final piece of Instant Concert, a mash-up of many songs, was then played followed by the band's signature encore The Final Countdown.
A band spokesperson said: "It's lovely to come and perform at the Gibbon Bridge. It's such a beautiful setting whether on the bandstand or indoors and the audience always seems to enjoy the variety of music that is chosen.
"This is our fourth time back in two years and we look forward to our next visit for a Christmas performance on December 7."
