A trial date has been set for a man after he denied a charge of assault.
Shaine Smith, 38, appeared at Preston Crown Court on Friday (August 23) charged with one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Smith, of Railway Close, Facit, Whitworth, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The alleged offence is said to have happened in June of this year in Accrington.
Smith was remanded into custody ahead of a three-day trial set for February 5, 2025.
A pre-trial review was scheduled for December 11.
