Three fire engines were called to Blackburn on Thursday (August 23).

At around 6.50pm, three fire engines from Darwen, Hyndburn, and Blackburn attended a fire involving an outbuilding on Southworth Street.

Crews were in attendance for one hour and twenty minutes.

A fire service spokesperson said: ”At 6.50, three fire engines from Darwen, Hyndburn, and Blackburn attended a fire involving an outbuilding on Southworth Street, Blackburn.

“Firefighters extinguished the fire using one hose reel. Fire crews were in attendance for approximately one hour and twenty minutes.”
