An "exceptional" village pub is looking for a new licensee to take over the lease after it was saved from closure last year.
The Hamers Arms in Summerseat is “a community centric pub” and offers classic bistro dining.
The pub is owned by Star Pubs and Bars and benefited from a £250,000 upgrade in 2022.
According to their website, the Hamers Arms has an estimated annual turnover of more than £328,000 and the rent is just under £20,000 a year.
Licensee Lisa Moore is the former landlady of the Victoria Pub in Walshaw and has been running the Hamers Arms since taking on the short-term contract in February last year.
She said: “The Hamers Arms is an exceptional pub.
“Catering to the fine people of Summerseat and beyond, since taking over the pub in February last year on a temporary basis, we have successfully increased customer volume by offering fresh food, hosting quiz nights, and reviving a local pool team.
“Although we will not be permanently staying at the Hamers, we are eager to assist in finding the right individual to take this wonderful pub to the next level.
“I am happy to discuss this with anyone who is interested and wants to learn more, please contact me at the Hamers. Star Pubs offers excellent support to new tenants.”
A spokesperson from Star Pubs said: “We are currently recruiting for independent licensees to lease The Hamers Arms and run it as their own business.
“The pub will remain open for customers to enjoy whilst we recruit. The Hamers Arms is a beautiful old pub surrounded by housing in the heart of Summerseat.
“As a great quality local that serves good food, it has lot of business potential, appealing to a wide range of customers from local residents to those from further afield looking for somewhere nice to eat.
“The pub is in a superb condition and has bar, lounge and dining areas as well as a lovely garden and a car park. It also benefits from private accommodation with three bedrooms for the operator.
