B&M Blackburn is set to reopen next month after being devastated by a huge fire.
The high-street discount retailer at the Peel Centre will be back on September 14, following the blaze in May 2023.
A B&M spokesperson said: “We’re delighted that a date has been confirmed for the store to reopen.
“We hope customers are going to be delighted after hearing the news. We cannot wait to start welcoming customers back through the door once again.”
No one was injured in the incident with staff making sure that everybody was evacuated safely.
The intense heat caused damage to the roof and the main steel portal frame to buckle.
The store's opening will mark the second site for the shop in the town following the takeover of the Wilko store in King William Street in March.
It will become the eighth B&M store in East Lancashire with others located in Accrington, Burnley, Colne, Bacup and Rawtenstall.
The fire broke out around 8.15pm and engulfed the discount retail store, which is on the same site as Asda, Halfords, Costa, JYSK store, Burger King and the Ice Arena.
At the time, a Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "At its height we had 10 fire engines in attendance along with two aerial ladder platforms.
"We had to use water bowsers and tactical firefighting to stop the fire from spreading into Halfords."
B&M is known for its selection of food, drink, pet food, health and beauty products, homeware, electricals, DIY essentials, toys, games and gifts.
