Police made three arrests after finding a cannabis farm in Burnley on Monday (August 19).
Officers were called at around 2.20pm to reports of a break-in in progress on Westgate.
A cannabis farm was discovered inside the property. Three people were arrested.
The public have been urged to report potential cannabis grows to 101 and look out for signs, including covered-up windows, condensation, strong odours excessive cables/wires, and the buzz of ventilation equipment.
A police spokesperson said: “At around 2.20pm we received a report of a break in progress on Westgate. A cannabis farm was located inside the property and three arrests were made.
“If you suspect there is a cannabis grow, you can report it on 101, online, or 999 in an emergency. You can also report anonymously to Crimestoppers. Some signs to look out for are covered-up windows, lots of condensation, strong odours, excessive cables/wires, and the buzz of ventilation equipment.”
