This week we are heading back half a century with this collection of photographs which show life at schools in Bolton in 1974.
It’s hard to imagine that all those young faces staring out of the pictures are now all in their 60s, many having reached retirement age.
These pictures merely show some of the aspects of school life including activities, lessons and, of course, the Cycling Proficiency test. See if you recognise anyone.
