He has secured a place at Edge Hill University where he will study Medicine.

Principal of Abbey College Manchester, Chris Randell said: “We are very proud of Ariyaan for these fantastic results. Throughout his time at the college he has been a highly-committed student and his hard work and determination to succeed is evident in his success.”

Ariyaan said: “I have enjoyed my time here at Abbey College, the environment was friendly and welcoming as soon as I started. I’ve met some good people that I can see myself being friends with for years to come.

"The teaching was very effective with an emphasis placed on understanding, as opposed to just memorisation.

"The staff were friendly and accommodating, always willing to help with any questions I may have had. I’ve learnt a lot whilst being here and feel confident going onto university.”

Chris Randell added: “We wish the Class of 2024 the very best of luck with their future endeavours, and I am confident that we will hear of even more successes as they continue to fulfil their potential.”
