A MAN arrested at the Clitheroe Food Festival on Saturday went on to assault a special constable and a police officer.
Blackburn magistrates heard the incident took place in Market Place where Parkington assaulted a man.
Sam Parkington, 28, of Curzon Street, Clitheroe, pleaded guilty to assaulting Dion Bllaca, two charges of assaulting a special constable and one of using threatening behaviour.
He was remanded on bail for the preparation of a pre-sentence report. A condition of bail is that he does not enter Market Place.
Rachel Evans, prosecuting, said when officers became involved Parkington told one of them to get out of his face or he would bite her nose off. He then said he was going to break her nose.
Gareth Price, defending, said his client had been recalled on prison licence.
