Car enthusiasts descended on to Blackburn as a ‘hypercar’ showroom opened its doors to the public.

The Larossa Supercar Hire showroom is based at Glenfied Business Park and showcases some of the some most expensive vehicles in the country.

Car fans from across the county turned on Monday night for the special opening night.

The company showcased its fleet of Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and Rolls Royces, but it was the five hypercars that drew the most attention.

These rare vehicles cost millions of pounds and aim to offer ‘an unparalleled driving experience’, said the company.

Showroom manager Mohammed said: "We are thrilled to bring these exceptional vehicles to Blackburn.

"Hypercars are beyond the realm of typical supercars, both in exclusivity and price. Very few people ever get the chance to experience them."

Guests were served food catered for by MyLahore, with a special dessert experience provided by Wunder Crumble live station and tea from the team at the Chaii Caffe.

Car lovers were able to get up close with some of the most prestigious vehicles on the planet.

Asian weddings and proms have become synonymous with supercars and the summer weekend months can be the busiest time of the year for hire companies, with people splashing out thousands of pounds to rent the cars for a weekend or just a few hours.

Mohammed said: "These cars are in high demand for weddings and special events, especially with the rise of social media where people want something unique for their big day.

"However, we are here to ensure that this experience is both memorable and respectful.

"We understand that hiring supercars can sometimes come with a bad reputation, particularly in residential areas.

"Our commitment is to educate our clients on how to enjoy these vehicles responsibly. We have the latest technology installed in our cars, including advanced trackers, to ensure they are driven safely and within legal limits.

“Larossa is communicating with local venues like The Glass Marquee at Stanley House, to ensure that supercar hires do not become a nuisance.

“Our policy is strict. We want our clients to enjoy these cars while being mindful of their responsibilities.

"This means no revving, no reckless driving, and a clear understanding of the impact that these powerful machines can have on other road users and neighbours."

The company said it wants to have a ‘responsible approach’ to hiring.

Mohammed added: "Every driver must sign a contract agreeing to drive responsibly.

"Our tracking technology allows us to monitor how the cars are being used, and we won’t hesitate to take action if necessary.

“We want to set a new standard for luxury car rental, where exclusivity meets community consciousness.

“By prioritising education, responsible driving, and community engagement, they are ensuring that the thrill of driving a hypercar can be enjoyed without compromising on safety or respect for others.”
