Former Coronation Street actor Alex Bain joined a host of famous faces for the launch of an interactive and nostalgic experience that brings the iconic Hot Wheels toy cars to life.
The Hot Wheels City Experience zoomed into the BEC Arena, in Trafford Park, for its European debut.
Spanning a series of immersive stations, families and devoted collector fans alike are taken on a journey through the colourful world of Hot Wheels.
Visitors can expect life-sized models, a gaming zone and design centre where budding artists create and project their own Hot Wheels model onto the venue walls.
Alex, who played Simon Barlow in Corrie for 16 years until his recent departure, was spotted creating colourful designs with mum Debra and daughter, Lydia-Rose, age five.
The 22-year-old, who went to Blackburn's Griffin Park Primary School, happily posed for photos and called Monday evening's launch 'fantastic'.
Other famous faces included Jennifer Metcalfe, known for her role as Mercedes McQueen in Hollyoaks, who brought her son Daye along and called the event 'amazing for all ages' with 'so much to do under one roof'.
Kel Allen, who played Laura Neelan in Coronation Street, also attended the special launch event for the experience that runs until September 12.
Visitors can enjoy an exclusive peek into the best of the Hot Wheels collections, which includes life-sized cars including the iconic die-cast Boneshaker and the futuristic Bad to the Blade, alongside more than 1,000 original toy models.
There are also trampolines for the younger ones to work off some energy, plus plenty of opportunities to get photographs including your very own Hot Wheels driving licence and lanyard.
Tickets are on sale starting from £27.50 for adults and £22.50 for children. SEN sessions will also be available on Wednesday August 21 and Sunday, August 21.
