Lancashire Police has revealed details of the first ever Crime Prevention and Community Safety exhibition to take place in the county.
Businesses and members of the public are invited to drop-in to the University of Central Lancashire on Wednesday 14 August.
Business owners looking to protect their assets and community members seeking to enhance their own personal safety will have the opportunity to engage with around 40 exhibitors throughout the day who will be on hand to offer crime prevention advice.
Exhibitors will include the Lancashire Constabulary Fraud Unit, Samaritans of Preston and District and Lancashire Trading Standards.
Lancashire Constabulary’s Mounted Branch and other specialist units will also be present. Officers will also be able to sign members of the public up to our online messaging service ‘In The Know’.
There will be raffles and competitions with opportunities for attendees to get their hands on crime prevention materials like video doorbells, WiFi CCTV cameras, property marking kits and truCall devices.
The event is being organised by the Lancashire Partnership Against Crime (LANPAC).
LANPAC manager, Al Yusuf said: "LANPAC is proud to host the Crime Prevention Expo, come and join us, together we can make a difference in preventing crime and building a brighter future for all."
The expo is is taking place at the University of Central Lancashire's Foster Building on Fylde Road, Preston on Wednesday, August 14th between 10am-6pm.
