A motorway was closed in the early hours of this morning after a serious crash.
The M6 southbound was closed for around two-and-a-half hours from 1.10am this morning, Monday (August 12).
The closure was between J35 for Carnforth and J34 for Lancaster.
All lanes reopened at around 3.30am this morning and traffic is moving freely again.
A National Highways spokesperson initially: "The M6 in Lancashire is closed southbound between J35 Carnforth and J34 Lancaster due to a serious collision. Lancashire Police are on the scene."
They later added: "The M6 in Lancashire is now open southbound between J35 Carnforth and J34 Lancaster following a serious collision."
