A car overturned onto its roof following a crash in Blackburn yesterday afternoon (August 11).
Police were called at around 5.15pm to the junction of Bank Lane and Shadsworth Road.
It's not known yet how many vehicles were involved, but a picture from the scene shared with the Lancashire Telegraph showed one car on its roof.
Ambulance and fire service crews were also seen in attendance.
North West Ambulance Service confirmed a woman was taken to hospital following the crash.
Officers warned the two roads would be closed "for some time" while they assessed the situation.
No indication has been given by the police as to whether the road has reopened, but information from traffic management websites suggests there are no ongoing closures.
Emergency services have been contacted for further information.
