Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust (LSCft) has secured a spot on the shortlist for Trust of the Year at the Health Service Journal (HSJ) Awards.
The prestigious accolade recognises significant contributions to the healthcare sector.
With more than 1,350 entries submitted, the trust's nomination solidifies its status as a key player within UK healthcare.
LSCft has been applauded for its continued ambition to provide top-tier mental health, learning disability, autism and community-based services.
Over the past four years, the Trust has undertaken a considerable improvement journey, receiving a 'good' rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) - an increase from its previous 'requires improvement'.
Chris Oliver, LSCft's chief executive, said: "We are absolutely delighted to be shortlisted for this highly prestigious healthcare award.
"It reflects the hard work and dedication our colleagues have put into making our Trust a better place for our patients, their families and carers, as well as creating an excellent place to work for our people.
"As a learning organisation, we are always striving to be better and make improvements."
Alastair McLellan, HSJ editor, added: "It always gives me great pleasure to congratulate our finalists at this stage of the judging process and this year is no exception as we acknowledge Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust."
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony hosted at Evolution London on November 21.
A panel of healthcare figures, including leading names from the NHS and the Department of Health & Social Care, oversaw this year’s judgement process.
