An East Lancashire golf driving range is set to its offering with the latest technology to be installed, to level-up your practice and offer fun for all the family.
Bluebird Golf Centre, based in Preston New Road, Samlesbury, is installing TopTracer technology across all bays in its driving range.
The technology tracks a ball's flight from the moment it is hit, giving players accurate information on how far, high, quickly and how far off-line the ball travels.
For golfers, it gives instant performance feedback to improve practice, while for those coming just for fun can provide competitions between friends and other games and challenges to enjoy.
Bluebird said the new technology is a "significant milestone in its growth and commitment to revolutionising the golf experience".
Owner James Porter, who took over the centre in January 2023, has worked hard to improve facilities for visitors, with TopTracer the latest addition to this experience.
Along with performance ball-tracking, the technology - controllable from a touch-screen monitor in each bay, also includes a variety of games, perfect for getting children interested in the sport or for fun games between friends.
It also has a collection of famous courses from around the world which users can virtually play.
Mr Porter said: "Since taking over Bluebird Golf Centre it has been amazing to see the transformation and growth we've achieved.
"The installation of TopTracer technology in all our bays is a game-changer for our golfers, providing them with state-of-the-art tools to improve their game.
"This is just the beginning, and we have many more exciting developments on the horizon."
In addition to the investment in the driving range, Bluebird is also adding an indoor virtual golf bay, perfect for practice in any weather and ideal for group bookings and events.
The new additions complement the services already available, including a nine-hole crazy golf course and an on-site shop with the latest golf equipment and clothing, plus club cleaning and a Motocaddy service and repair centre.
Mr Porter added: "We are thrilled to welcome golfers, both new and experienced, from all the local towns to Bluebird.
"It's exciting to see our facility grow and develop, and we are committed to putting Bluebird Golf Centre on the map as an exciting and ever-growing golf location."
