A beach in Lancashire has been named the best dog-friendly beach in the UK.
With many of the UK’s beaches having restrictions for dogs during the summer months, Parkdean Resorts has sought out the best dog-friendly beaches in the UK.
The holiday company looked into the amount of TikTok views UK beaches have, whether there are restrictions and if they are dog-approved.
The data was collected from TikTok in July 2024 and revealed that Blackpool North Beach is the best for dogs with more than 42 million views on TikTok and no restrictions for dogs.
Dogs are welcome to enjoy Blackpool North Beach all year round and Parkdean Resorts says it is dog-approved.
Why Blackpool North Beach is the best dog-friendly beach in the UK
Parkdean Resorts said: “Approved by dogs themselves, it is a great place to enjoy with all the family, with a range of activities including aquariums, museums and not to forget the grand pier and amusements!”
Blackpool North Beach was placed in the top spot, beating the likes of Padstow Beach in Cornwall which has 5.2 million TikTok views and Prestwick Beach in Strathclyde which has 1.5 million TikTok views.
