Two fire engines were called to a kitchen fire in Burnley this afternoon.
The units from Burnley and Nelson attended the scene in Herbert Street shortly before 1pm today (August 6).
They attended for around an hour and used one hose reel to extinguish the fire.
A fire service spokesperson said: Two fire engines from Burnley and Nelson attended an incident on Herbert Street, Burnley.
"The fire involved the kitchen of a domestic property. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, a positive pressure ventilation unit, and one hose reel to extinguish the fire.
"Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour."
