There are "long delays" on the M6 this evening following a crash.
Two lanes were closed on the northbound carriageway between J30 for the M61 and J31 at Samlesbury (A59 Preston New Road) due to the crash.
Traffic website Inrix also reported delays heading southbound as traffic slowed to look at the crash.
The AA traffic website said: "Long delays due to earlier crash on M6 northbound from J30 M61 to J31 A59 Preston New Road (Samlesbury).
"Congestion to M6 J28 (Leyland), also slow on the M61 back to J8 (Chorley).
"All lanes have been reopened to traffic"
