Police dogs in Lancashire have been sent gifts as a thank you for their help following the disorder in Southport.
Dog handlers as Lancashire Constabulary have also been sent appreciative gifts after assisting Merseyside Police over the last week.
Pictures shared on the Lancashire Police Dog Unit Facebook page showed PD Woody sitting proudly with a huge array of new treats.
A spokesperson for the unit said: "We have been gifted food, sweets, drinks, and even our dogs have received thank you gifts.
"We have been blown away by the kindness shown by residents.
"PD Woody isn't letting them out of his sight."
