A new care home set to open in East Lancashire will create more than 100 jobs to support adults living with complex needs.
Construction on Wytham Lodge in Padiham began last year and is expected to be completed by December 2024.
As the opening date approaches Exemplar Health Care is searching for driven and compassionate people to join its staff ranks.
Built on the values of fun, integrity, responsiveness, success, and teamwork the home will support adults living with complex and high acuity needs arising from complex mental health conditions, dementia, neuro-disabilities and physical disabilities.
It will provide long-term community care to people who would otherwise have a prolonged stay in hospital.
Lindsay Holcroft, commissioning manager at Exemplar Health Care, said: “We’re really excited to open Wytham Lodge care home this winter and bring a state-of-the-art healthcare service to Lancashire.
"Those in our local community who require additional support to live well and fully enjoy each day can greatly benefit from your work in the care industry.
“We know first-hand what a wonderfully fulfilling job it can be!”
The company, which operates 51 complex care services across the North, is hoping to employ local people in administration roles, as domestic assistants, catering assistants and a multitude of care and support roles.
Successful candidates will start by completing a comprehensive induction, training and team-building programme.
Additionally, new team members will have access to Exemplar Health Care’s leadership pathways which equips experienced leaders with the skills and behaviours to excel in their roles and advance their careers.
The ‘aspire’ leadership programme is designed for senior health care assistants, registered nurses and aspiring managers which focuses on leadership.
The home will feature 34 large bedrooms, each with an en-suite, across three units in addition to communal dining and living spaces, an activities hub, sensory bathrooms, a therapy room and a large accessible garden.
