The fire service was called to a derelict building fire in Padiham on Saturday (August 3).
Four fire engines were called to a derelict building fire, on Burnley Road, at around 3.40pm.
They used a variety of apparatus to extinguish the fire.
According to social media users, the road was blocked off by emergency services causing “utter chaos”.
Videos and images show a fire engine outside the former A Chip Off The Old Block fish and chip shop, which is closed.
A fire service spokesperson said: “At 3.42pm on August 3, 2024, four fire engines from Hyndburn, Burnley and Nelson attended a derelict building fire on Burnley Road, Padiham.
“Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used three hose reels and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire.”
